Who we are
Crawfords Helping Hand Cleaning Service is the data controller for the information described on this page. We clean Airbnb and serviced accommodation, rented properties at the end of a tenancy, and offices, across Greater Manchester, Warrington and St Helens.
You can reach us at 45 Highmeadow, Radcliffe, Greater Manchester M26 1YN, by email at office@crawfordcleaning.com, or on 07478 761593.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.
What we collect, and why
When you ask for a price or get in touch. Your name, email address, mobile number, and the postcode and details of the property. We use these to give you a price, arrange the work and stay in touch about it. Our lawful basis is that we need it to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.
When we clean for you. The property address, access arrangements, what was done and when, and photographs of the finished work. We use these to do the job, to show you it was done properly, and to settle any question about it afterwards. Our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you.
When you use this website. Pages visited and basic technical information. We use this to understand what people find useful and to keep the site working.
Photographs
We photograph our work when we finish. This is how we show you the job was done to standard, and how we can both check what happened if there is ever a disagreement.
We photograph rooms and surfaces, not people. Our cleaners are told not to photograph anyone, personal documents, or belongings in a way that identifies someone. If you would rather we did not photograph something in particular, tell us and we will not.
We do not publish photographs of your property without your permission. If we would like to use an image on our website, we ask first, and you can tell us to remove it at any time.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of suppliers to run the business. They only get what they need, and only to provide their service to us:
- GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc.) — Customer records, quotes and messages (United States)
- Xero — Invoicing and accounts (United Kingdom / European Union)
- Vercel — Website hosting (United States)
- Supabase — Job records and photographs (European Union)
- Microsoft 365 — Email (European Union)
Some of these are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, it is done under the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work: two years, then deleted.
Job records and photographs: 24 months after the job, then deleted — unless something about that job is still unresolved, in which case we keep it until it is.
Invoices and accounting records: six years, because tax law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to us using it. You can also ask us to send it to someone else in a portable form. Just email us — there is no form to fill in and we will not charge you.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This site uses only what it needs to work, and measurement that tells us which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.
If we add anything that is not strictly necessary, we will ask your permission first.
