Burnt-on spill around the burners and down the trim. Lifted with the pan supports out, so the surface underneath gets cleaned rather than worked around.

The part nobody reaches. Taken apart, degreased and refitted — it is on the periodic rota rather than every visit, because twice a month is what it needs.

Grease sets hard on a filter and stops it drawing. Soaked and scrubbed rather than wiped, which is the difference between it looking done and working again.
