About us

We turn up, and it's done to standard

Three situations describe most of our work. A guest checks out at ten and the next arrives at four. A tenancy ends and a deposit hangs on the state of the oven. An office needs to look after itself so the people in it can get on with their jobs.

All three share a brief: a fixed window, a defined standard, and someone who can't afford it to slip. That's the business. We treat the handover, not the hoovering, as the job.

We work from Radcliffe, which puts most of Greater Manchester inside half an hour, and we cover 98 postcode districts across Greater Manchester, Warrington and St Helens. Crawfords works in partnership with Greater Manchester Property Maintenance Ltd, part of the Easy Invest family — so a landlord can get cleaning and maintenance from one relationship rather than two.

What we hold ourselves to

Four things, and we'd rather be judged on them

We turn up

If we've said a time, that time is a commitment, not an estimate. If something changes, you hear it from us first — not when we fail to arrive.

We work to a checklist

Every job type has a 12-point checklist, and the same checklist produces the same result whoever is holding the mop.

We tell you straight

If a property needs more time than quoted, or something is damaged, you know before you find out yourself. No surprises on the invoice.

We give a hand

It's in the name. Linen forgotten, a bulb gone, a bin missed by the council — the small things get sorted rather than logged as not our job.

The checklist

All twelve points, published

A standard that only exists in someone's head is not a standard. This is the list our cleaners work to on a changeover, in full — so you can hold us to it.

Four of the twelve are photographed. You get the report the same day.

Beyond the changeover

The jobs that don't need doing every visit

Some things would be wasteful every time and negligent never. We run them on a rota per property, so nobody has to remember when the extractor filter was last done.
